This presentation highlights a real-world implementation in which Large Language Models (LLMs), SQL Server, SharePoint, and Power Automate were combined to transform a fragmented reporting and invoicing process into a fully integrated, intelligent workflow.
The session demonstrates how AI can bridge the gap between narrative reporting, document processing, and enterprise data governance. Through a practical case study, it illustrates how weekly reporting and invoice management were evolved from a manual, time-consuming burden into a streamlined, strategic advantage.
Gurmol Sohi is a Calgary based data developer and researcher with experience across data engineering, analytics, and machine learning.
Since entering the tech industry in 2021, he has held roles at Long View Systems, Neo Financial, and Nutrien, where he has contributed to projects spanning enterprise data platforms. He is currently completing his Master of Data Science and Analytics at the University of Calgary.
