2026 DAMA Calgary Award

The DAMA Calgary Award – 2026 recognizes the individual presenting the best data initiative in 2026. The award will celebrate the contributions to the data community, the application of DAMA framework concepts, and the efforts to advance data education in Calgary.

• All presentations that take place in 2026 will be eligible for the award.
• Participation in the DAMA Calgary Award 2026 is free.
• Membership in DAMA is not required.
• Presentations must be made at a DAMA Calgary meeting in calendar year 2026.
• The award winner will be announced at the January 2027 meeting.

The award is $500 and will be judged by the members of  the DAMA Calgary chapter. The criteria for judging will be broadly based on three concepts: business value, problem statement and problem resolution. Your presentation skills will not be the top consideration, however, clearly articulating the three concepts will help you win the award!
