DAMA Calgary is excited to offer a CDMP study group for professionals preparing for the CDMP exam! This 10-week program provides interactive discussions and quizzes designed to cover key concepts from the DMBOK, helping you build the knowledge and confidence needed to succeed.
Earning the Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) designation is a significant professional milestone. It validates your knowledge, skills, and experience in data management and is increasingly recognized as a valuable credential in both public- and private-sector job postings across Canada and beyond.
The Cross-Canada CDMP Study Group brings together leading instructors and data management experts from Canada and around the world to support your certification journey. Pay-If-You-Pass Opportunity
A Pay-If-You-Pass (PIYP) exam event will be held in Calgary. You write the exam at no cost and pay $300 USD only if you pass.
- The exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions.
- Candidates have 90 minutes to complete the exam.
- An ESL version with an extra 20 minutes is available.
- Covers all 14 topics in the DMBoK v2Revised, including Knowledge Areas such as Data Management Process, Ethics, and Big Data.

Sessions will be held online via Zoom every week for 10 weeks, starting Wednesday, April 1st, 2026, from 5:30-7:00 PM MST.

You need your copy (hardcopy / PDF bundle is recommended) of the DMBoK V2.0 Revised Edition is available for purchase from Technics Publications.
We recommend giving yourself 2 hours per week to read the chapter, in addition to the 150-minute review/quiz session.
