DAMA Calgary Chapter June meeting

June 20th at 8AM at Suncor Energy Centre

Today's businesses move quickly and proactive companies are realizing the role information plays in building success.  'Data as an asset' is not a new concept, but the importance of a data-driven approach to develop a competitive edge is being recognized by executives and managers alike.  How can technology and business professionals deliver analytics solutions at the 'speed of business' when technology initiatives seem to take so long?

Join Mr. Bowen to explore pragmatic approaches to rapidly developing digital insights through the use of analytics.  Specifically, Jim will describe how to encourage business uptake of analytics within organizations and how to deliver results quickly.  Several oil and gas case studies will be provided ranging from front-line operations through to executive strategy sessions.  Attendees will take away suggestions for increasing business engagement, fast-tracking analytics deliverables, and driving business value within their organizations.
